Hello autumn! Staying fierce this season

Hello autumn! Staying fierce this season

Hands up if you’re feeling sassy! I know I am in this faux leather trench coat.

A new season brings a whole new world of outfit opportunities. I for one couldn’t be happier- autumn fashion come at me.

Coat: Primark; Top: Rebellious Fashion; Skirt: Missguided @ ASOS; Boots: New Look (old); Bag: Zara (old)

I love everything about fashion this time of year. I really struggle to refrain from buying everything when I go shopping! But when there’s leather and metallics, jewel tones and opulent fabrics, can you blame me? In fact, I’ll go as far as to say that autumn is my favourite time of year.

It’s no secret I love outerwear, so autumn is a winner for me as I can start investing in new statement coats and jackets.

And there’s no much more of a statement than a leather-look trench! I’ve been craving a piece like this ever since seeing Kate Moss in the latest Reserved campaign. I’m hoping I look more high fashion than like I’m going for The Matrix fancy dress, but I can’t deny the serious 90s vibes! Was anyone a massive Buffy fan back in the day? I’m getting all the Buffy flashbacks too.

This coat was reduced to £20 in Primark, which was a no-brainer for me. They didn’t have my size so I sized up to fit jumpers underneath once the weather gets even colder.

Apart from the fact I can indulge all my outerwear fantasies, the other thing I really love about this time of year is the colour palette. I think I’ve managed to fit all of autumn’s colours into this look!

This outfit is really simple, but I’ve used accessories to add the ‘wow’ factor (if I may say so myself). The vintage scarf round my waist has long been a favourite of mine, though I’ve never worn it like this before! However, I felt like this top and skirt combo needed ‘something’ to finish it off.

Wear what makes you feel sassy this autumn- I’d love to see your favourite looks in the comments below,
