I am LOVING the warmer weather we’ve been having lately. It’s amazing how a few degrees of heat can provide the opportunity to be much more playful with your outfit.
On that note, let me introduce you to my new favourite dress.
Dress: vintage River Island; Boots: Debehams ; Jacket: Zara
This dress was a total unexpected find and the result of a “leopard print dress” eBay search. Like all eBay purchases, I wasn’t sure how this one was going to turn out but I am totally enamoured with it. The label suggests it hails from the 90s, but I am all about its 60s style vibes.
It’s rare for me these days to get my legs out, but embracing the mini length is essential for creating a 60s-inspired look. I also love an excuse to rock a beehive. Nothing makes a gal feel more like Audrey Hepburn.
Accessories-wise, these £3 sunglasses from Primark couldn’t have been more perfect to complete the look. Of course my trusty yellow biker jacket from Zara also made an appearance.
We spent the day wandering round Shoreditch, London’s hub of vintage fashion. My 60s inspired look felt the perfect fit – just the right combo of old and new.
Why not experiment with some retro inspiration in your wardrobe this week?
