Generation Game: Dressing for a vintage fair

Generation Game: Dressing for a vintage fair

There’s nothing better than a chilled Saturday catching up with friends, except maybe when that chilled Saturday involves wandering round a vintage fair.

This weekend Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair rolled into Edinburgh at The Assembly Rooms, and I was keen to spend my day off exploring its retro finds.

Dress: Vintage; Belt: eBay; Boots: Pretty Little Thing

I always love to dress for the occasion, so I pulled this vintage dress out from the back of the wardrobe. I reckon it’s from the 80s, but I’ve always felt it has quite a 60s vibe to it.

This is such a different style compared to what I’d normally go for. I feel a bit like an air hostess/ extra from Mad Men- both of which are fun things to take style inspiration from!

A huge shoutout has to go to these berry-coloured suede boots (ahh, more burgundy in my life!) They are so comfortable and I can’t wait to style them in future posts.

I hope you all had a good weekend,
