One of my favourite things about America must surely be Nasty Gal. For years I have coveted their clothes, but I could never justify the postage costs.
So you can imagine my joy when I stumbled upon this Nasty Gal stunner in a thrift shop in Austin. Winning.
Dress: Nasty Gal @ Buffalo Exchange; Shoes: Primark
I am infatuated with the cut-out detailing of this dress. It’s such a statement piece without being in-your-face. The flowing, pleated skirt is a bit of a change for a bodycon addict like myself, but I love the femininity of it. This beauty reminds me of a retro tennis dress, but with a Fifth Element-inspired update. Yay for space age!
I got these lace-up, block heel sandals back in April from Primark and they are one of the few amazing pieces I’ve bought from there. Lace-up detailing is everywhere right now and it’s a trend I am very much in to.
I wore this look for a chilled drinks catch up with friends, but it’s got me reminiscing about hot Austin nights. Crispin cider and country music, anyone?
